Margit Alt Murphy currently works at the Inst. of Neuroscience and Physiology, Rehabilitation Medicine, University of Gothenburg. Margit does research in Neurology, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Medicine and have competence in upper extremity kinematic analysis. SALGOT (Stroke Arm Longitudinal study at Gothenburg University) is one project which investigates recovery of upper extremity after stroke in a unselected cohort reaching from stroke onset to long-term follow-up. Another current project is WearITmed consortium project – Wearable sensors in smart textiles with aim to improve diagnosis, monitor progression and tailor treatments in individuals with epilepsy, Parkinson’s Disease or stroke.
