Betty qualified as a physiotherapist at Kings College London, and completed her Masters in Neurorehabilitation and her PhD at Brunel University London. She worked clinically in London, specialising in neurorehabilitation, before becoming a lecturer practitioner at Brunel University London and then a full time academic in the UK, and subsequently in Luxembourg when she was living in Austria. Betty is based in the UK now and has been the INPA secretary since 2015.
